# The Helm Limited 30-Day Refund Policy
Effective date: June 3, 2026
The Helm is software based on proprietary methods, intellectual property, and product know-how. Because a substantial portion of the product value is disclosed and made available upon access, refunds are not automatic.
Refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis during the first 30 days after purchase for customers who are unable to obtain practical benefit from the software after reasonable use and troubleshooting.
To request a refund, send a cancellation and refund request within 30 days of purchase to:

Please include:
- the checkout email used for the purchase;
- the type of printer, firmware, and printer control software being used;
- a clear description of the issue preventing you from benefiting from the software;
- any relevant screenshots, G-code context, error messages, or steps already tried.
We have worked hard to provide a useful working product while keeping the subscription cost as low as possible. To preserve that pricing, refund requests require enough information for us to understand the issue, attempt to help, and confirm that the software is not providing practical value in your situation.
If you have a legitimate issue that prevents you from benefiting from The Helm, we will take care of you. Refunds may be denied where the product has been used successfully, where the request is incomplete or outside the 30-day window, where the issue is unrelated to the software, or where the request appears abusive or fraudulent.
Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable consumer rights that may apply under applicable law.
